I decided to look at this airport since a friend of mine just landed there and I’ve been tracking his flight. I wanted to see what he would experience when he lands and my God… I had no idea Singapore airport was like this. I live in Los Angeles and would love to go there, but I do not know if I can handle such a long flight.

12:00 The train that passes through the Jewel is moving people between Terminal 2 and Terminal 3. Terminal 1 is also connected to both these terminals at either end. The carriages are separate, one serving landside and the other airside for those transiting. It is very clever how they could use the one train to serve both sides. The immigration clearance is one of the fastest and most efficient in the world. I've gone out of the terminal for a couple of hours with just my passport and boarding pass with the help of luggage storage on site.

I really liked Changi airport when I was in transit - over 10 years ago. I think it was terminal 1 and you could go anywhere airside in that terminal without going through immigration/customs. When it was time for your onward flight each departure lounge area had its own security screening checkpoint. You did very well to watch a whole movie without going to sleep!😂

Alternatively, you can book a capsule hotel in downtown area (sgd80-90 for pax) and U will hv a proper sleep and shower. Train going to town shld be less than $3 and takes 45mins.

Uhh jewel changi is actually connected to the arrival hall of terminal 1,its about 2mins walk. u can also get there by a link bridge from the departure hall of terminal 2 and 3 on level 2, its about a 8min walk

The indoor swimming pool cost $20 to enter? Emm... Maybe it's really worth it at such a high-class amenity place. Swimming pools are very well maintained especially in Singapore. The public pools are very crowded becoz of the high density population - not a chance to even enter at all.

Did u guys know that: Airlines have to give you food voucher for any layover longer than 12 hours? They are also required by law to provide u with free hotel for layover longer than 24 hours. Many people don't know this. Uh uh..you're welcomed

Go back to SE Asia. I've been to both SE Asia and Central America. SE Asia is far better, cheaper, easier to travel, better beaches, etc. Plus you are still in SE Asia mode, might as well continue it while its still alive within you as there is so much more to see and do. Latin America will always be there for later
