6. At what time? Во сколько? Va skol'ka? ♦ At what time you are going to sleep? LIT: At what time you are going to bed? Во сколько ты идёшь спать ? Va skol'ka ty idyosh' spat' ? 7. Where from? Откуда ? Atkooda? ➟★ “Откуда ?” on it’s own means “Where from”? in the context of “From which country are you?”. But our example is about knowing someone. ♦ Where do you know Natalia from ? Откуда вы знаете Наталью ? Atkooda vy znaetye Natal'yu? 8. Where? Куда ? Kooda? ♦ Where is he going? [by transportation] Куда он едет ? Kooda on yedeet? 9. How much/How many? Сколько ? Skol'ka ? ♦ How much does this Television cost? LIT: How much costs this TV? Сколько стоит этот телевизор? Skol'ka stoit etat teeleevizar ? 10. How long? Как долго? In sentence 8. куда он едет (where is he going to - by transportation, unidirectional), the imperfective verb ехать is used (to go by transportation, unidirectional) which belongs to the imperfective/perfective pair ехать/поехать.

In sentence 10. как долго ты там пробудешь (how long will you stay there), we are using the perfective verb пробыть (to stay, to remain) from the imperfective/perfective pair пробывать/пробыть.

In sentence 17. чем я могу вам помочь (with what can I help you), it is worth noting: a) чем is the instrumental case of the interrogative pronoun что; b) помочь (to help) is the perfective verb of the imperfective/perfective pair помогать/помочь.

This one changes according to gender. So it can be: Чья[Ch'ya] {Fem} Чьё[Ch'yo]{Neuter} Чьи[Ch'I]{ plural} ♦ Whose backpack it is? [M] Чей это рюкзак? Chey eta rukzak? ➟★ Рюкзак [Rukzak]=Back pack {Masculine noun} ♦ Whose bag it is? [F] Чья этo сумка? Ch'ya eta sumka? ➟★ Сумка [Sumka]= a bag. {Feminine noun}

In sentence 15. кому ты звонила (who were you calling), it is worth noting that : a) кому is the dative of the interrogative pronoun кто; b) звонила comes from the imperfective verb звонить, from the imperfective/perfective pair звонить/позвонить.

Past: Remove the last part of the verb and add л Я игра(ю)л If a girl add а after л Of course there are irregulars. With the 1st/2nd/3rd plural add ли Они игра(ют)ли With reflexive verbs works the same, remove the ть, not the ся and add л like always. Here some irregulars Идти(to go by foot) Я иду/я шёл Вы идёте/вы шли Тереть(to rub) Я тру/я тёр Вы терёте/вы тёрли Future: Two cases. 1st Я/ты/он/она/оно/мы/вы/они + буду/будешь/будет/будет/будет/будем/будете/будут + imperfective aspect verb. 2nd case Take the perfective aspect of the verb you'd like to use and conjugate it like you'd do in present. As you conjugate in present you'd think its present but its not, you are conjugate in present but it'll take a future meaning я сделаю= i will do, something we do once instead of я буду делать= im going to do, that's a scheduled action so it's imperfective, if it's a unique action that will end its perfective. Also don't mix the two cases and remember that in general the perfective verb usually has prefixes, the past can be used with both perfective and imperfective
