just a tip from someone that lives in Madrid, start start searching as soon as possible! apartment hunting is awful in this city, is crazy expensive for the shit they offer (last year i saw apartments over 1500 euros with NO WINDOWS) good luck with it!

a few years back i had a really good habit of reading before bed. the trick for me was to listen to a chapter of an audiobook, cause i would do that in the dark. then the challenge is to not fall asleep before its done, but i suppose if you dont lie down and listen that wouldnt happen.
