Christ, Vince seriously needs to learn to swallow his pride and accept one simple fact: its not about what HE wants, its about what the CROWD wants. If the wrestler goes over with the crowd (like with Daniel Bryan) then the smart thing to do would to be to give him more airtime and high profile matches! This is a big reason why Reigns isn't sitting well with the crowd: he's being forced too much and his popularity isn't natural.

I totally agree and Once Upon a Time Vince McMahon was forced to listen to the crowd if a wrestler was getting over he had no choice whether he like them or not to go with it because at the time they were not financially stable as in the WWF at the time plus they were in a Furious battle with WCW so Vince McMahon had to listen to his crowd and many superstars became popular because of this most famous Lee Stone Cold Steve Austin I don't think the WWE had any plans whatsoever for Steve Austin to become the mega superstar that he became but after he was given the green light to win the King of the Ring and he cut that promo and the next night it was Austin 3:16 signs everywhere they knew they had something and in an era where they was just throwing everything against the wall hoping it would stick it ended up being the greatest accident in wrestling history in recent years however since there's no competition because Impact Wrestling Ring of Honor wrestling and even New Japan although their product is pretty good they can never financially compete with Vince there for Vince doesn't care about what the crowd thinks or wants if it's not in his plan for a superstar to get over then they don't get over no matter how positive a crowd response to them now the big examples of this is a course Daniel Bryan and CM Punk but there have been many other examples such as Fandango who the crowd actually sung his song even though it had no lyrics but since it wasn't in the plans for him to get over look at him now

Tyler Breezes downfall was actually his own fault. He got promoted to the main roster and WWE did see potential in him and were going to give him a push. But a couple of weeks (yes weeks not months) after he got promoted to the main roster, he asked for time off. WWE management including Vince and Triple H were not happy and his push got dropped. The Headbangers did return for one match recently. So don't say they don't have a chance of going into the WWE Hall of Fame. I mean look at DDP aka Diamond Dallas Page. After WWE bought WCW , Vince buried a lot of WCW guys including DDP. He got welcomed back into the WWE family a couple of years ago and this year he is going into the WWE Hall of Fame. Jarretts contract hadn't expired, it was about to expire. Jarrett told Vince to pay him $100000 or he would refuse to drop the title and would take it to WCW with him. Vince was worried WCW would do a segment like they had done before, where they had an ex WWE wrestler who had not lost the WWE title before leaving the WWE for WCW. he was worried WCW would have him put the title in a bin like they did before, burying the title. So Vince paid Jarrett and forced him to drop the title to Chyna. What neither Jarrett or Mcmahon knew, was even if Jarret had gone to WCW with the Intercontinental title, WCW wouldn't have done a segment with it. Eric Bischoff revealed, when they did it before it backfired with some WCW fans watching WWE rather than WCW.

If some of the rumors floating around are true, you can add Rusev to this list. According to said rumors, Vince didn't like the couple of Rusev and Lana, and the awful "love rectangle" storyline was an attempt to REALLY cause a rift between Rusev and Lana's relationship. The primary person who retaliated was Lana, and because of current standards in the WWE, Lana was untouchable (being a manager and not a active competitor), so Vince has taken to burying Rusev instead, making him lose key matches, derailing his push and making him look like a chump entering 2017. Rusev definitely qualifieis as a victim of Vince's ego. I mean, it's common for people in the same profession to fall in love, and I think Rusev and Lana work really well together. We all know Vince is a notorious control freak, but trying to control the relationships of others and trying to ruin or break up such relationships cause one does not like them is definitely crossing a line.

Im pretty sure that information about Chyna is incorrect. According to people in the meeting Vince offered Chyna a large amount of money to stay with the company, he actually offered her more than the others thought was appropriate. She wanted like double that amount tho and told Vince if he couldn't do it then she could no longer work there so they parted ways. Im sure the information in this video came from Chyna but she has been proven extremely unreliable in later years as her drug habbits were really out of control and she was saying anything to garner sympathy and attention.
