@quintonjones206510 ай бұрын
If I was able to speak to him as a big brother, I would want to remind him: You deserve protective, supportive, involved, encouraging, and loving parents. Please do not allow yourself to accept blame for their responsibilities, and promise me that you will not identify yourself by their selfishness. As children we all see our parents as “superheroes” and “perfect.” You are now maturing into the transition of surrendering/grieving the innocent perception of a “perfect mom” into accepting that she is simply another human who should have made better decisions. I pray that you have patience with yourself through this lesson. We can see the strength inside of you, by the you intentionally keep your heart open through all of this confusion you never deserved. The tool that brings the most healing is forgiveness, which is also not a “black or white” state of being, yet, more of a muscle you workout. Each moment you choose forgiveness, the lighter the pain will become. Lean into Jesus when you are feeling overwhelmed. Focus on the gratitude of your Aunt, I am so thankful she has been protecting you, which she volunteered to do (don’t take that lightly). Lastly, lil bro, don’t let all that love you wanted share with your parents go to waste. If you keep that hidden, it will produce resentment and an emotional wall of defense that will deceive you into thinking you are protecting yourself, when in actuality, you are hiding the light inside of you which I hope you will allow the world to see. Keep your head lil bro, safe and genuine love is a bare minimum of what you deserve. I’m keeping you in my prayer man! You got this🙏🏽

My heart goes out to this young man. How sad that bringing a child into this world and take no responsibility. Millions of children are suffering from absence of their fathers. You have no idea what kind of trauma those kids are dealing with emotionally and mentally. Parents’s responsibility not only to protect the children but also to educate them and build their future. It’s unethical, and immoral as a mother to tell your child that you were sleeping around that’s why you don’t know who’s his father is ???

She reminds me so much of my sister, sadly. Due to deep insecurities and people always taking care of her, she treats her kids as 2nd and 3rd priorities. Men are always first. What she needs or wants is first. She’s not a bad person, but completely oblivious to how everyone else takes care of her biggest responsibilities and she just sits back and complains. All the while living her life on her terms. Same with this mom. Thank God for her sister!
