I did a day trip from Bundy to Lady Elliot about 10 years ago. Amazing place. Saw Manta Rays when snorkelling was an incredible range of bird species. ps- you cannot beat a Queensland sunset

Spent a few days on Lady Elliot Island several years ago. I am not from Australia so it has always been a dream of mine to dive on the Great Barrier Reef. The Reef and Lady Elliott Island did not disappoint! The return flight to Hervey Bay was little hairy as we took off in a heavy storm but our pilot did a great job and we made it safely back to the mainland. Australia is a beautiful country with some of the friendliest people on the planet!
