Our latest video sees us back out on the Far Eastern Fells. I stared this walk quite late, so chose somewhere that I knew well.
I had only climbed Rest Dodd once, around eight years ago. So I thought it was time to have another go at it.
Cloudy conditions, coupled with strong winds made for a good, but at times, wild walk.

I remember being up there in very similar but wetter weather with a friend a couple of years back and I remember the bog from the Knott but compared to the bog on the way to The Nab - yikes! Moody conditions but I am fed up with this wet weather, we need sun and weeks and weeks of it too, cheers Alan

Hi, Alan. Yes, absolutely sick of this weather. We do indeed need plenty of sunshine. I still enjoyed the walk despite the bog. I think Brock Crags is a great little fell, will have to do a camp up there sometime. Thanks for looking. Take care.

Shame about the weather Mal. I love the views up there especially from Brock Crags. I think you got The Knott mixed up with The Nab which looked unpassable in your video. Good to be out on the fells anyway, another fab video. Cheers

Thanks for watching, Tony. You're absolutely right, I did the get the two fells mixed up. I can only blame my age, and lack of research. Yeah, the bog was ridiculous up there. As you say, still good to be out on those fells. Take care.

Was on brock and angle tarn the day before, not much better weather.. wise decision not going to the nab, was nee deep bog last summer during the heat wave haha... tek care lad :)

Hiya, Dave. Yeah, this was a good walk, but the wind was wild on Rest Dodd. I got The Nab mixed up with The Knott, but no way was I walking through that lot. Take care.
