Chilla ja linnea många autistiska släpper varken napp och blöja, inte för att de inte kan gå på toa för det gör dom. Men det är en trygghet att bara ha blöja ist för trosor. @peligrodefrio53037 жыл бұрын
Narriesse Darbon cause people still believe that if you suck on your thumb or pacifier that it will effect your teeth, but your body actually decides what kind of teeth you get. I've never sucked on my thumb and sucked on my pacifier when I was 1/2 and stopped before my teeth were falling out. And I never played with my gums with my tongue. But when I got my adult teeth, it wasn't even in a good shape and I had to get braces for 2 years.. now that is out of the way, and my teeth is perfect rn.

Yeah but it doesn't mean you ONLY have bad teeth when you suck your thumb/a dummy. Sucking your thumb does affect the direction of growth as when a thumb is in the mouth constantly, it's constantly pushing your teeth forward
@noemirose90437 жыл бұрын
I sucked my thumb when I was a toddler to the age around 8 or 9. It caused an overbite. Now, I'm 24 and wearing braces for that and some crooked teeth on the bottom. :D

Lauren Evans yes I agree I suck my thumb at the age 35 shameful really. my teeth are really bad had braces and I ripped them off at the age of 16 my over bite is now massive my front teeth are so far forward the hole gum gets reshaped too 🙈 no strait teeth for me ever 😬

I'm 18 as well and I use a dummy (pacifier) as my comfort for stress and anxiety. It is really comforting and soothing to use when all worked up about stuff. In no way is it weird or creepy. The use of a 'dummy' is one of the first stress relievers a human learns; along with crying. I completely support the use of one throughout life. It's an extremely effective method of handling stress, but society thinks that baby/toddler stuff needs to be "let go" at a certain age for some reason. Wouldn't logic tell you that if something works for people, you shouldn't shun it? This sort of thing can be applied to almost the ENTIRE "Freak Like Me" series.

I'm 31 and use one, sleep with stuffed animals, and wear cute animal pajamas to bed. Sorry for the story, but I wanted to explain how I sort of got into this stuff. I know a lot of people out there think things like this are absolutely bizarre, and while I agree that I do think it's a bit strange itself, there's a reason I got into "age regression", which is mentally going back to a younger age than you are in real life. I was emotionally neglected as a child, and only realized about a year ago that it was the source of a lot of my depression, among other problems in life. Around the time of this realization, I met a woman. Shortly after meeting and getting to know her for a couple of months, she was rear-ended at a stop light. It herniated a lot of the disks in her back. She's disabled. She can no longer do the job she loved to do. The injury also gave her a concussion, so she wasn't in her normal head for awhile. I supported her throughout all of it. When she eventually started getting back to normal (mentally due to the concussion... she'll always have back problems), she admitted just how much I meant to her, especially since a lot of people abandoned her. We fell in love, and started dating. I've always been pretty shy about admitting things to people, even past boyfriends and girlfriends, but she's the most understanding and caring person I've ever met. I knew I could admit anything to her and she would be supportive, even if it was something she thought was strange. It just so happened that she thought it was cute, and there are times when she and I act like mommy/son. I won't say why, but she can't have children. She's a year younger than me, and has always wanted to be a mother, and has admitted that I'm the closest thing she'll ever have to a son... and given my troubled childhood, she's the closest thing I'll ever have to a mother. For her and I, this mother/son relationship is NOT involved in our sex lives. It's separate, although a lot of people that are in these types of relationships do incorporate that into their sex lives. For me, this is not an addiction. I don't feel compelled to do this in a way that would make me irritable or anything if I wasn't able to. The mood just strikes whenever. I suppose in the end, it's a coping mechanism. Sure, a lot of people will find it weird, but I keep it to myself and it doesn't control my life. In the end, is that really so bad? Is it that weird? Does that make me a freak? If it does, then I'm happy being one :)

Age regression is innocent and is an 100% valid coping mechanism 😊💖

I'm an age regressor too and I have a couple of pacis in my backpack. There's nothing wrong with it nor is it abnormal, it's a coping mechanism for me.
