I hate when people describe "plain" or "basic" things as "vanilla" because there is nothing plain about vanilla. It's an unappreciated flavor that is so amazing that it's used to improve everything else, including chocolate... Which unfortunately is the problem... it's over used and underappreciated.

Ya... but the majority of the viewers of this cannel are American or North American, so these things are probably rare for Americans (also i wouldn’t say that saffron is “extremely rare” 😂). Foodie here enjoys food lists.. So far I've had: braised sea cucumbers, saffron in Middle Eastern/Turkish cuisine, bird's nest soup, grilled fugu slices with teriyaki sauce, thinly sliced iberico ham on melon at a food event, small bottle of maple syrup from Canadian cousin, manuka honey from kin travelling overseas, cheese from a freshly cracked wheel of parmigiano in Parma and freshly grated wasabi (only once, years ago ..) Also had black chicken in herbal soup but not sure if the local (Singapore/Malaysia) breed is the same as that in Indonesia, Mongolian fermented camel's milk and camel milk cheese, black truffle (it was a gift, too pricey for my pocket) over homemade pasta, salt in Iceland but not sure if it was Icelandic salt, vanilla pods but not sure where they're from, balsamic vinegar tasting after walking through a balsamic vinegar "inheritance bank" ... 😁 Now I'm getting hungry...

You can just try the chicken eggs. They taste conpletely different from store bought. I have 9 chickens and 2 female ducks and I can tell you they taste and look completely different from a more orange yolk, to a stronger flavor that makes you crave for more with the right seasoning. My favorite seasoning is a pinch of white pepper, a pinch of pink himalayan salt, some shredded onion pieces and Butter as a replacement for oil That is for sunny side up but for scrambled is the same except I add sour cream or something similar and it makes it a puffy scrambled egg that even an egg hater would enjoy.

Freshly picked Wild Berries off the Bush in Northern Ontario with no washing required with the airs natural yeast, is by far the best fruit, it hits with a sour punch and lands with a sweet and slightly savory after taste, that manages to taste as healthy as it is simultaneously.
