I struggle with disordered eating, mostly for reasons unrelated to body image but partly that too, & she NAILS the inner voice/insane twisted mental logic of those kinds of urges 😂 She's one of the funniest most incisive most insightful comics I've ever seen lol. I would do great feats to see her & Taylor Tomlinson co-headline a show!!!

Why do you jump to a sitcom on NBC? She just had a sketch show on Netflix, which only lasted one season. I think that’s a way better format for her, and I actually liked the show a lot, but guess it was cancelled pretty quickly. She had a lot of funny ideas on there though. Too bad.

Not trying to hate, but what does that even mean?? queen of hashtags?? Usually if you like a certain comedian, ala Mitch Hedberg, one would say, Hedberg is a genius at simplistic observational jokes. Another Example, Bill burr, through his anger at societal norms manages to pin point exactly the humor behind that stupidity.

Her movie, "Good On Paper", on Netflix, helped me find so much healing from a recent relationship I escaped from. I was stuck with a narcissistic, abusive, lying, alcoholic, psychopathic man, who stalked me for eight years. This terrible man abused me in every way. Iliza is not only an amazing comedian, but an incredible feminist helping women like myself, all around the world. She makes me feel less alone in my struggles being a woman.

I wonder how many people escape the craziness of life through her spirit, within the strokes of her art. All I can really say to her is, thank you for having the courage to craft your art; its because of her hurdles to get where she is that so many people feel, and are, gifted with her talent.

Maria Bamford merged with 80s Jim Carey. Utterly brilliant. I'm a little shocked that I hadn't heard of her before. I'm a huge standup consumer and she never hit my radar until I learned about your channel on SXM. She caught my attention instantly once I tuned in. At my first stop light after she came on, I took a fucking picture of the screen in the car so I wouldn't forget her name!

I don’t find female comics funny for whatever reason, but Iliza is the exception. She’s hilarious and her timing and physical comedy are spot-on. Even when the material is good - and it usually isn’t - the timing is off with female comics. Schlesinger is spot on.
