This morning, I was driving behind a trucker who was driving erratically on 35W. He was swerving across both lanes, and at first, we thought he might have been tired. However, when we passed a construction site with police presence, he suddenly straightened up and drove normally. But when we reached the 35W - 35E split in Denton, he came to a complete stop in the middle lane. I couldn't wait to get past him because something was definitely off. Now I wonder if he was drunk too! 🥴

As a truck driver its a shame I’ve been driving for two years now and I see a lot of drivers who drive with their phones in their hands, and I could literally see most of them are scrolling though videos like tik tok videos or whatever it may be. Everyone in this world is distracted but it’s especially dangerous for truck drivers to be on their phones especially with a heavy load we can’t stop on a dime we literally have to be more vigilant of our surroundings because we cause more damage

I speak to all Truckers - If you want to drink beer and get wasted do it on your time off at home without driving. And take extra days off!! Dont it while your driving a powerful rig rolling down the highway. That is absolute not Professional AT ALL ! Keep your eyes on the road at all times. There are checkpoints. The problem is is the states are using excuses. They don't have enough money to keep the checkpoints open and they let all these foreign people in here. They don't want to deal with them. They don't want to deal with the fact that they don't speak English. They're not supposed to have a CDL at all. They're not being trained and you were riding around the public with them. I've been doing this for 38 years and it's getting worse and worse and the government refuses to do anything about these foreign drivers killing our citizens

I blame the Government. The standard for qualifying to drive a truck has been lowered to bring in more people to keep wages low.
