Sir how can 600 volt capacitor store 1800 volts ? Its not possible. You said it wrong sir. In reality we have use capactior in stages; 1.5x or 2x its storage. For example if the second stage capactior is going to store 480 volts then use 600 volts or 800 hundred volts capactior. Simply use 2 times or 1.5 times the storage of the capactior. For the first capactior we can use less voltage but in last we need higher to store more.

No, you are WRONG. this is the circuit simulation using Multisim show us the voltage across each capacitor will be 620v DC , and since they are connected in series the total voltage will be 1860V. So we need capacitors with voltage rating at least 630V. NOT 1860v !! blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEheiNHha5zsKVPXBPlWS98m_XdWMqmMIfrKpUIJn6fdce_59Pnum6uzxN5TSpJTZ7c6dKf81_pq_DbPnGTmsxgzODhSJlm3hSRTw8YfDkvW2RE-Ti1FJ-1_1j0iq6SwT7WCEsR1OaD6p0Fyt6gLaZnvDIxjmnrMpFHdD4aBASVjist-ofqQ2J_OEL3hQZ4/s1073/voltage%20multiplier.jpg
