Hi First of all thank you so much for these informative videos. I am holding 482 Medium-Term Stream Visa, granted on 03/12/2019 and have been working as a winemaker in regional VIC for 30 months. I haven't left Australia since i have started my job here and worked here during covid and before that as full time winemaker in a winery. In January 2023, I'd be working for my nominating employee for 3 years. My question is that some of the immigration advisers told me that i am not eligible for PR (whether 186 or 187) due to i am on Medium - Term stream and not on short stream. However, on Department of Home Affairs' website there is no argument regarding this and 482 visa holder can transition via Regional Sponsored Migration Scheme visa (subclass 187) - Temporary Residence Transition stream. Yes it is for the sponsor must have a labour agreement or be under a DAMA agreement to sponsor this occupation under the 482 visa in the first place. Under these agreements can be various occupations that usually cannot be sponsored for the 482 or 186 visa. Thanks for watching

Hi Karl, Is it possible for an employer/sponsor to make an exemption for work experience for relevant work visas? I have checked off all other criterions except for this. 😔 Are there other employer-sponsored worke visas that don't require minimum work experience or have exemptions?

Hi Karl. I am.currently processing my 482 visa and I am 44 y/o. This means that I will not be qualified for PR when I reach 3 years of employment in australia. However, I have a dependent de facto partner who is under 40 y/o. My question is, will she be qualified to transition to PR with her dependent status?
