Yes, it's playing quite well now. Good luck with yours. What's the date/serial#? My biggest(??) obstacle might have been wishing too hard for a shallow key dip. IIRC, it needed a solid 10 mm to work...

@@qwaqwa1960 thanks. Broadwood serial numbers seem to be all over the place so I’m not sure on the date. Serial number is 9791. The date that’s written on the action is partially scratched unfortunately so all I can read is 14-2-X0. I’m guessing either 1870 or 1860. It’s a semi grand with no lid prop.

​@@rammy5248 Yeah, their s/n's are a nightmare. Best guesstimate I can make from Pierce is ~1874.
