Hey Gina, I LOVE YOUR WORK! and your videos, they are sooo helpful. I wanted to share that i just bought some of this medium and someone told me the bubbles are part of it, that it tends to do that and for that reason, they encourage mixing with it ahead of time and letting it sit, preferably overnight. So i thought i would share with yall if anyone else has had the bubble issue. Keep doing what you're doing, you help us all so much and your work is beautiful! Stacey

I just purchased some of this new Golden pouring medium and haven't had an opportunity to try it yet so I was happy to see your video. I too have been having issues with the AL flow white, it's not mixing well, getting those small lines and curdling. I'm not sure if they have changed the product but I've had issues with the last two bottles I've purchased. Thank you for sharing!

I've had issues with it too but it was a bigger jug so I hated wasting it. I just won't buy it again

I’m sorry Gina, what was the ratio of Golden to your paints? I just bought some Golden PM. It get confusing for each different style, tree ring, flip, dutch etc; ty!

It’s true. I need to test it in a straight pour. I wonder if I can get the effect without Floetrol. If so, I think the price of my paintings are going up. 😬 The finish is really awesome. Did you have issues with bubbles? There is a crazy amount of bubble action.

Gina,no I haven’t! But I got some golden acrylic fluids and the price 😰 I still have 2L of floetrol and when I have some time I will try ☺️ I live in Denmark and everything is very expensive 🙁 specially products outside of the Europe. But I do like the golden line’s quality 👍

I do have several videos on varnishing. This pm is thicker than GAC 800 and comes in gloss and matte

Gina a silly request - show how you put the little screws on the back of your canvas to give it something to stand on....I tried and gave up in frustration. thanks

Glo Schurman I use the hooks. If you use a drill with a small hole you can make a start and then the hook will screw in by hand, then you can screw them in as much as you want. 👵🏻

Have you found any issues with crazing? I’ve been playing with the golden but in areas where the paint is slightly thicker I’m getting some cracking. Super helpful video!

I used GAC 800 and found that Golden mediums do not play nice with other brands of paint. I had lots of bubbles, too and even chunks of "gunk" from some reaction to the Liquetex Basics and Artist Loft paints. The directions you read said to use this with Golden High Flow paint. I bought some, tiny bottle, like water consistency and expensive. I think for complete success, you need to only use Golden products which I can't afford right now so I went back to Floetrol.

GAC 800 is very different from this. I had no luck with that stuff. Scraped them all. I think my artists loft was old. It was from before I broke my thumb. That stuff does get weird sometimes though.

I buy Artist loft flow at Michael’s and it is very thick. I have to thin it and I wonder if it’s thick when others purchase it.

Ok, I’m really confused. In a previous comment, you said that you didn’t have success with gac800. Yet in trying to find out the difference between the new medium and gac800, all I’m finding is that they are basically the same. This is from Golden’s blog, and Karen from Waterfall Acrylics said she talked to a Golden rep who told her the same. The bubbles problem was also a known problem with gac. I’m just confused because like you, I’m having no luck with gac800, but not sure I want to spend the bucks to try this when Golden advises that if you have gac800, no need to buy this product. Confusing!

Those flecks, Gina!!! Aarrrgghh, they are the bane of pouring paint!! You can have a beautiful pour, colorwise, cell wise, hit the heat or not, here they come.. It is time consuming aggravating but I have gone over every inch of my entire paintings to eliminate them. With it in colors other than white; so what causes it?? You know?? Cool patterns, great set :) yes that finish looks very nice in sheen and texture.
