They may have been! They came from a collection that was formed in the 1980's and the company they originally were purchased from no longer is in business.

@@dancersccOnce those coins are in your collection I don’t believe many of us care whether or not they’re cleaned. We usually buy coins in the best affordable condition or buy them regardless of condition if the coin is one we really want. Nice coins and thanks for sharing your coins with us.
