And funnily, she was the hardest on Dorinda! I don’t know if it has something to do with being the third child or being an October baby, haha, but seems like us third-in-line October babies just throw our mamas (mainly and most black mamas, hardly ever see it in white mamas) into some kind of moods for AGES to come...but later we thank them for the moods because it makes us so much better.

I love the fact Dr. Clark invested in admonishing her children in the Lord. She was very adamant about her passion for pleasing God. She is that old School Mother figure that we had and we need more of today. We would be better off. The devil was coming for this family in every direction, but those girls stayed faithful, even Denise. Train up a child in the way they should go and when they grow old they won't depart from it.

LORD how i remember those days in the youth choir in the tenor section. if i only knew then what i know now. i went to church because the women in the family took us to church. while there, i heard the sermons and learned of GOD. i did not fully accept CHRIST until i was an adult in my 20's. by the time GOD was through with me, i wanted to change everything. i am so much better today. no matter how "seasoned a christian" we think we are, we will forever need GOD. trials and struggles aint nothing to play with, yet he is FAITHFUL to deliver us out of them all.

I promise when Twinkie hits the organ I'm full on about to roll on the floor crying and tarrying for the Holy Ghost, every time. Also, I can never get enough of a COGIC tenor with head turnt and his bottom jaw shakin..But I'm over here weak because Sis Ellis, played Dr Clark/Mother to THE 'T'...If she doesn't get the Emmy, I'm just done with tv and takin my tail to bed.. lol

Dr Moss did exactly to her daughters what her mom did to her and I only wish her mother could’ve actually seen this to the end! What an amazing and anointed woman. I truly wish she hadve followed the dr’s orders and left the rest up to God.

Beautiful woman & Anointed. “The sang They were overcome by the blood,”on the Clark Sisters cd had a song with Dr. Mattie Moss Clark leading the song. That cd helped me to raise my kids. I tell you no lie I never had to run to that school & bless god my 3 children had & still do respect me. They were good kids. I credit their anointed voices for that. I am thankful. My daughter & son over 25 years later have they own children. My oldest run to the Clark’s now to help day to day, while raising her children. God bless The Clark Sisters & Dr. Mattie Moss Clark❤️❤️❤️
