18th Century Georgian Gem! BEST EVER Mudlarking Find Hidden In The Sand!

A Rare Secret hidden in the sand! Well what can I say! We found something very tiny but full of punch while mudlarking! Our first 18th century Georgian Intaglio, possibly a Tassie Seal. It is very beautiful and could be connected with the Freemasons.
We also found a lead army and lots of other beauties! Come with us and see what the Intaglio says and see our reactions when we realise what it is! Is it our best ever find? Kate also creates some beautiful jewellery inspired by this incredible find :)

When you put up on the screen that Fleur was finding your best find ever, I was mentally squealing because I hoped it was an intaglio! ❤️❤️❤️ How exciting!!! First was Milliput! Black Milliput is black, and that is something! I got some for my ebony and rosewood minnipins, and they're happy! Then there was clay silver. Clay+Silver- aha! Perfect pendants! love love love

To keep your clay from sticking to the seal, you can dust it with powder or rub it with oil either will stop the sticking. I would use powder myself ,only because you put heat on them. Beautiful work Kate.
