Watching this video again as it appeared on my feed; I completed my Camino April 2019. I could imagine your 40kms to get to Reliegos I remember it is one of those towns down a bend I didn't see it until the very last minute it felt even longer to get there...

My son is - on a whim - doing the El Camino in 28 days because of his flight out of Barcelona. He is skimpy on details but thanks to Efren muhhh - I can follow him and get a feel for his journey through Efren's trials, joys, & tribulations. The only difference is that he wants to BUY A HEADLIGHT! Efren will understand this from when he tossed his in the garbage around day 6 or 7. I do not think my son has as much equipment as Efren because he would not be able to hustle so he can make his flight in time - but he is enjoying and has had no issues w/ feet (blisters/hot, tired) nor sunburn. He says the food is delicious and the burgos are perfect for him. He travels exceptionally well w/ the less is more theory.

I had a day like that on my first Frances and it was of all things on the last day into Santiago. I had initially intended to walk to Pedrouzo from Arzua, but I unknowingly walked right past where I needed to turn off to get to Pedrouzo and didn't realize it until I walked past the airport. Oh well, keep on stepping. Never walk backwards. Ultreia. I reached Santiago at about 6:00 pm and it was a gorgeous summer afternoon with blue skies and I found a really nice pensiones to treat myself to right near the Cathedral. Turned out to be a perfect ending.

Fantastic videos. I did the Camino in May this year. This was a great reminder of the journey. Superb photography, especially the drone footage, and accurate commentary that really gives people a sense of what to expect. Best I've seen so far.

Charles Marsh I had originally read Camino De Santiago by John Brierly but lost it while I moved two weeks before leaving a i bought another with the same name but by Sergi Ramis at barns & nobles
