Joe, you should’ve did some steelhead fishing while checking out those covered bridges. The steelhead fishing is awesome in some of those rivers.

I didn’t have any gear with me but I went down under and watched the guys fishing. They caught one decent one. Tons of cast to the same spot, I think a bite really surprised them after making the same cast for hours! Pretty fish.

A picture is worth a thousand words, but yet you did not use any words. Some times just showing a picture is not enough. I really would love to hear the history behind those bridges. At this time I do not have a working car to drive there to see them.

Do a maine/nh covered bridge one! Pretty cool... why do they make some covered and some not?

I think it’s a thing of the past and now they make them for nostalgia and the tourism. At one time it was part of the design to protect the bridge from the elements and part of the design .

The bridges are amazing, but a lot of the more remote ones are infested with wasps

We had a couple in Shelby county Indiana built in the 1880’s and city tore them down. What a shame to destroy history. Even rumors of them being haunted when I was younger. Lol 😂 music was a bit haunting

@@JoeHollandFishing Hi Joe and Happy New Year wishing you the very best in health, good fortune that life has to offer, in respect to the your video, it was from our January compilation and it was selected to be included into our end of year " compilation best of "due to the positive vibe and positive feeling the video portrays to viewers..me personally i consider that video a "pick me up" video and one of the best videos that ive come across in 2018 👍👍👍. I meant no disrespect of any sort but rather wanted to show those who view our page that keeping a positive view on life no matter what life throws at you is what's lacking in today's world.
