I'd love to see the guys version! I've been a photographer and cameraman who's filmed hundreds of different people in interview, training and all sort of settings. It is amazing how differently people carry themselves. There are lot's of different ways ones pose to enhance a particular image, and sometimes it isn't just to look attractive. Sometimes your subject needs to project power, concern, sympathy or any other attitude. As film or digital imagers, we have a number of different techniques and just plain tricks to choose from. But translating these to movement and action can take a little training. To complicate things, you have to do these things in a way that doesn't come across as rehearsed or manipulative. It would be nice to see other ways men could use posture and body movement to project the image they need. How about it, Brightside? What have you got for us?

If you have a less than perfect smile such as medications making your teeth dark, but you absolutely have to have them and teeth get more yellow as we age anyway, you tend to try and smile without showing your teeth. It’s hard sometimes to look natural when you’re trying to smile just enough to not show your teeth yet trying to appear very friendly.

Thank you for explaining the part where they don't look into the camera lens. Oh sure,we all know that looking away from the camera is much more appealing and natural, but the part I could never understand growing up, was, whenever there was a photograph of princess Diana in a magazine, tabloid, television, on the news, books etc. etc. One would never, ever, ever, see her (not even once) look into the camera like some other people have. I knew at the time, that it was done intentionally; I could never figure out why? I would often think it was because she was shy; because not even once did I ever see a photograph of her looking towards the camera even when (it was appropriate to do so). Now I know the reason why. Portrait artists say to turn your face about 3/4 to the side to a partial profile rather than looking straight at the artist or camera. Most people's faces are not completely symmetrical, and so a partial profile can look more attractive. You also won't chance looking like you're in a mug shot!

Helpful. I tend to photograph like a deer in the headlights unless the photographer coaches me. If you're ever in a movie, the first thing the director tells you is DON'T look at the camera. That's the1st tip here too.

One being, they don't know what liquid is in there (so it's fine after you buy it at the airport AFTER you go through the check up but it's expensive). Secondly, it's possible to create bombs (with certain chemicals + friction?)...so obviously that's a concern. ....er...I'm pretty there're a lot more problems such as air pressure but these are the ones I can immediately think of right now.
