True, LR is gifted with perfect pitch, excellent enunciation and incredible intonation. However, you must realize that others cannot help the way they sound. So what about accents? Idk, it would never enter my mind to be annoyed, by the way someone sounds. Although poor grammar will be corrected, if I am around. A bit hypocritical 🧐 there I suppose. Some of us just are not gifted with a perfect voice. I prefer to think we have other gifts! LOL

Steve's and Hannah's stories are heartbreaking... I'm really sad for people like them. On the other hand, the story of the guy being spooked by his friends on his birthday and the two guys walking awkwardly in the middle of the night, scared of each other, were kind of cute and funny. The last couple of years has been bad for me. I started getting intrusive thoughts last year abd couldn't sleep. I was already a subscriber but that's when I started listening and sleeping. I try to fall asleep and most nights it works. A lot of videos I rewatch over and over again. So I know whatever I missed when I was asleep I will eventually hear. Lol. I was still in a bad place when I made that comment. It's been a rough year but I listen to Let's Read as often as I need to now and catch live steams more often. As a mother, the story about Richard broke my heart into a million pieces. That poor baby never stood a chance. How can you sleep at night knowing you abuse your son so much that he tries to light the house on fire at age 5 and is drinking alcohol at age 8? Where the hell is CPS? They let him go back to his parents? Not saying his murders were justified at all but I can see why he turned out that way 😢 awful awful awful

The Devil's Tree was used for lynching. I have an ancestor that witnessed it first hand. I also have relatives that were hung in The Nuremberg Trials. I don't know about anyone else but I personally would leave it alone. Idc if it was right or wrong .... Anything like that holds deep terrible pain in it. I wouldnt wanna be anywhere close if it was cut and that pain was released.

1:18:04 This statement reminds me of the moment I realized I have nothing to fear from being alone in the dark (or NOT alone in the dark!) At the time, I was working as an overnight security guard at a car dealership. It was a classic spooky mid-October night, several years ago, and the weight of being alone in that area suddenly came down on me full force. I looked around nervously, imagining every shadow hid someone just waiting to jump me. Then, after a moment's reflection, it hit me! Anyone or anything lurking out there in the dark wouldn't see someone who was shaking in their shoes (I'm naturally good at not letting my emotions show outwardly). They'd see a hulking, 6'5 (197 cm) man in a vaguely cop-like uniform prowling around looking for intruders! From that point on, I've been aware that I'm almost guaranteed to be the scariest person or thing out there in the night!

So today is my bday n I walk around listening to these all day while Im cleaning, cooking etc. So I kind of absentmindedly listen to them. My fiance is always pulling pranks on me and that story where they said "Happy Birthday" real creepy at the end, I swear I stopped, looked around, got my phone n was looking for however or whatever it was that he got to tell me happy birthday in that creepy voice bc it scared me 😂 I was looking for him to scare me somewhere but he's not here 😂 he's at work 😂. it most likely has an attachment to it and they have a healthy respect for the tree. it is not the trees fault that it has a dark history. i say let it die a natural death and even then dont cut it down. that thermal pocket may also be a good reason not to remove it due to what has happened in the past when folks messed with thermal pockets. i lean on a combination between both science and paranormal activity.

In 🇨🇦 you are just released with conditions. They have to have someone who signs responsibility for them. We don't have a bond payment like the US. If the assailant gets a signer and break their regulations, the signer is responsible for them breaking their law. I had to have a man federally charged for stalking and harassment. The officer was great. I went in Friday am with 8-9 inches of threats and the dead flower he left and the cip said "well, it's Friday night so I'm going to go arrest him so he has to sit in jail till Monday. Best 2 days ever. Listen to your instincts folks. We have them for a reason!
