Wow, hope it was mild. I had a TIA at 39, scared the crap out of me, and the poor urgent care doctor I dropped in on. Caused by uncontrolled high blood pressure. The first person to check me at urgent care was a young lady. She checked my blood pressure and never even said anything, just uncuffed me and walked out. In came the Dr and he checked it. He looked in my eyes and said” do you feel ok”? I would have laughed if it weren’t for me absolutely not feeling ok. He called an ambulance to get me to the ER, and never left my side until I was in the back and the doors closed. I still have numbness and memory loss almost 20 years later

Gino was absolutely not making LSD as a high school student. The precursors are carefully watched by the government, but more importantly, you'd need a degree in organic chemistry, probably a masters to be honest, and to actually be a good chemist, with a full lab to make LSD. Its incredibly complex. Story would've been more believable if you said he was growing magic mushrooms in his closet or something, as that's quite doable.

Ballen tends to tell stories that have some truth to them or sound like they could be true.
