Way cool bike👍🏽 I have a Kustom bike I started back in 2004 it started out as a schwinne but I got carried away and chopped the frame built a tank and back fenders all one piece. Then I started to make some skirts for the bike. It got put on the back wall hanging up. Everyone ask about it even got offers for it. I made the front fender to be the back fender. Is what people don't realise. There's a brass tag on the fender that says Jesse James on it, I never took off. I'm guessing it's one of Jesse's fenders he made with his hand's. Even though I butchered it up to make it work for my build. I think if he saw how I made the seat pan and fender when the skirts get put on it all= one piece he would be cool with it. Like you said everyone has there own way of building there project as long as we get it to the finish line 👍🏽🇺🇸🏁

I'm up here in New England ,,, How well does your jackshaft setup handle hills . We have some fairly steep ones (and roads) up here in the mountains. Just wondering if this has torque enough to pull up the hills without loading up the engine???
@EDGClassics Жыл бұрын
To be honest, I’ve not run this set up on any significant hills. I’m in southeast Texas where it’s mostly flat. You could change the rear sprocket to help with the torque but you will have to experiment to find a good cruising speed without super high RPMs.

You can start by bending or welding the seat post to sit further back over the back wheel and flip your handle bar's over if you have the beach style handle bar's paint your wheels the same as your frame, maybe check with your local bike store to see if they have solid red tires or black bulky tires. There's a few idea's but every one has diffent ways of doing it to make it look like an old track racer bike.

i like a lot, but here comes the "buuut" . no front brakes allowed on any flat track or boardtrack bikes. most had no brakes at all. when you need to stop, you would lay it down. me, i learned to pinch the front wheel with my feet (boots) to stop. once you learn how to do that, brakeless bikes are a hoot.
