Thanks Paul. Loved what you did. So many memories of my wedding many years ago. We did live happily ever after. We married in the church office with our two best friends, the preacher, and an old lady playing an organ. Most everyone else said it will never last. Sometimes I wondered! My wife passed on weeks before our 62nd anniversary. My daughter recently posted on her Facething photos of my new red Model A, saying I learned to drive in one just like it. I actually learned in a 1955 Chevy and my first car was a 1949 Dodge coupe. Sometimes our kids get confused. Shortly after I was married I did buy a worn out 1931 Model A coupe. It started to be red when I sold it. For 60+ years my wife and I dreamed of another red Model A. In memory of my wife I finally bought the car she dreamed of, a red 1931 deluxe phaeton. Maybe I'll get to drive one of my grandkids in it for their wedding.

Ah That was fun! My 31 Fordor has been in the UK for 22 years and has always been used as a Wedding car first in Scotland and the past 10 years in Wales. Now it's with me in England. I will have a go at the occasional wedding with it too in the summer. Over here we have a white ribbon from the top edges of the windshield around the Motometer and back, and white bows on all the door handles. We pick up the Bride from her home to the Venue, wait for the happy couple to come out and then drive them both off to the Wedding Reception party. Job done! 4 hours work and charge about £250 British Pounds (about $300.)
