Get a set of transfer screws. You thread them into a hole and hit the piece you need to match to get the location transferred. The opposite, of course, are transfer punches.

The truck is looking cool. Especially with Moon in the back. I don't know about the laws in Pennsylvania but in Oregon you just have to have your dog on a leash or chain so that they can't out of the truck bed. I just attached a short piece of chain to the center top of my bed, attached a swivel to the other end, and clipped on own my dogs collar. She can wander around a little but she can't get out whether on purpose or accidentally.
