One of the very best versions of Sing you Sinners, this slow tempo allows the arrangement and solos to really shine. If this doesn't move you you're dead...

What splendid quality, a shame about the groove damage here and there, but you must expect a few scratches if you are loved a lot !

how do you record from this old discs? is it possible to use a normal turntable with an ortofon needle running 78rpm or do you need an old grammophone? TOP SOUND !
@ZeusTheTornado4 жыл бұрын
I doubt you could even record the output in an old grammophone. What's more, I would avoid them since they wear out the disc grooves pretty easily. I'd personally use a modern turntable. It would be better if the turntable was capable of spinning at 78 rpm, but you can record these discs at 45 rpm and then speed them up. Audacity can easily speed these discs if they're ecorded at 45 rpm.

Theres a movie clip with sexy Lillian Roth singing this. I think it might be from De Milles 'MADAM SATAN'
