That is absolutely amazing that you found the crank but it also amazes me that you could still order one and they made it exactly like the original one!!!

So cool I'd love to find something like that!! When I was a kid me and my friends would come across grave yards of old cars all the time. Lots of fun. The only thing I have model A wise is wrenches.

Thank you, yes, seems there are always some type of Ford sparkplug wrench, commonly, at most flea markets and antique shops. Very neat finds.

The crank would have been stored under the seat...when it was still there. The seat dissolved away and the crank dropped to the ground. Retrieval is half the fun.

Thank you. Was the base of the seat hollow, like a tool box? I just can't imagine how long it would have taken for everything to simply disolve to time like this. But, makes perfect sence where the crank was found...thank you.
