The enthusiasm for this heritage piece is infectious, a true piece of history in great condition. A real anomaly

Fantastic guitar and a few gentleman with a great story. I would like to say that my father was in the US Navy during WWII,and he always spoke VERY HIGHLY of New Zealand and the people there. He was an honorable man...and I imagine that the ladies would have liked him.

Hard to beat the dry tone of an old Gibson L2, a fingerpickers dream guitar. The Edmonds guitars heading your way sound amazing as well. Thanks for the great content

Long story short-I bought a Gibson L2 retro model. Very nice, first guitar I ever played was an L2. Recently, afriend brought her guitar to show me- it was an L2, In a a chipboard case, beat all to hell - both guitar and case. Her L2 was lighter, and it sounded awesome ! I offered immediately to trade straight across. However, though she couldn't play a lick, she said the guitar was a gift from her father when she was a teenager. I asked 3 people to close their eyes and listen to which guitar sounded better. It was no contest. The original L2 was sounding much better, even though my L2 is a fine little guitar !
