Keep in mind the P-51 Mustang in original timeline was powered by the Rolls-Royce Merlin. If they're using the same engine as the BF 109 it is in fact in our modern nomenclature a BMW engine Because the actual manufacturer of the 109 is Bayerisch-Fleugzeug-Werke what is the aviation division of what we know today as BMW. Based on the architecture it's not a surprise although I would expect some other aircraft to be powered by lightened aluminum versions of Maybach engines...

I love this new direction your going in where you focus more on domestic and economic changes instead of just more military movements on maps, not that i have a problem with those but i can imagine that it's getting hard to not repeat yourself when it comes to the military. The way the US became authoritarian in such an unclear way, maintaining its constitution and many of the institutions of democracy, is what makes this video very realistic. I am always fascinated by the various alternate histories on KZbin. In spite of the stumbles in English pronunciation, this one is the most detailed and comprehensive I have seen so far. It does come across as a Documentary, keying on an obscure event, the assassination of Roosevelt. The fact that the US Constitution is circumvented, rather than being overthrown by the fascistic forces makes it more believable, if not a little sad.

It's always small things which change the course of history. Imagine if Gavrilo Princip had missed the bus in Sarajevo the day he was supposed to assassinate Archduke Franz Ferdinand. With the potential avoidance of the Great War, the geopolitical landscape of Europe would have remained vastly different than we understand it today. The collapse of empires such as the Austro-Hungarian, Ottoman, Russian, and German would not have occurred in the same manner, altering the course of history for countless nations and peoples. The rise of communism in Russia, the Treaty of Versailles, and the subsequent economic turmoil that paved the way for the Second World War, all these pivotal events might have been drastically different or potentially avoided altogether. Beyond Europe, the survival of Franz Ferdinand could have had significant implications for the fate of the Ottoman Empire and the Middle East. Probably no MAGA. I doubt that the USSR would collapse so easily even in this timeline. Even if the Wehrmacht receives help from the United States and German industrial facilities remains untouched. Well, the fact that the Soviets will just lay down their arms after the fall of Moscow and retreat beyond the Urals, stopping the fighting in Europe, is a pure fantasy. Also, I doubt that the USSR would not have transferred Siberian divisions to Moscow front, even taking into account the absence of a war between Japan and the United States. At the beginning of the video it is said that after clashes with the Red army at Khalkhin Gol, Japan abandoned its attack on Siberia. In our timeline, it was information from Soviet intelligence officers in Japan, who learned that the Japanese leadership was not planning a war against the USSR, that became the reason for the transfer of Siberian divisions. I see no objective reasons for this not to happen in this timeline. This means that the USSR’s position would have been more advantageous. The Sino-Japanese War also likely continued. Given that the US did not embargo the Japanese in this timeline (Although this statement is also quite controversial, because the Empire of Japan is still a competitor for America in the Asia-Pacific region and I don’t think that the established fascist regime will change this, if not aggravate it by introducing even tougher sanctions and much earlier, than in our timeline. Perhaps the situation from your other video will even be repeated, where the United States began to fight on the side of the Axis, and Japan de facto joined the Allies.), the Empire of Japan can now fight for much longer without fear of its resources being depleted. China is too huge and also supported by the US. Consequently, neither side will be interested in peace negotiations, believing that they can get more if they win.

Without the great damage done to the Luftwaffa by British night fighters(using rudimentary radar, made by USA) during the Battle of Britain and the subsequent mass bombing of German Industries during the day(by USA, suffering huge losses) and the British(again, bombing at night and destroying industry after industry thru night raids) the Wehrmacht would have been able to resupply overland, and even if 6th army was surrounded by Russian forces the LW would have resupplied by air. And let's not forget Stalin's 3 days in seclusion after the initial massive losses to Third Reich forces that he was awaiting his own arrest, but it turned out they came to see if he was done being drunk and ready to lead.Without the USA's secret arming of Britain with the most amazing of rudimentary radar systems, sold thru Mexico to avoid the American ban on arming European nations, while even American planes had no radar , Britain would have lost the air war. This is not a well known part of history. Most radar were huge land based installations. Only England had this radar. We,USA, had it too after 1945 but the air force eventually went with a different system that was better using a design that's the basis of current radar technology. I know about this because it was my grandfather's company that built this radar system, and made him and his friends very rich in 1935, 1 year after he started shipping HIS radar system to Britain.

But don't discount reality. On paper, everything can be very good, but when it comes to implementing plans, problems often begin. For example, a partisan movement that undermines supplies, logistical problems caused by long distances (After all, Russia is very huge). And, of course, the fact that you are fighting an opponent equal to you. Because it’s one thing when, for example, Great Britain defeated China in the Opium Wars, having technological superiority in everything. And it’s completely different when Germany, with all its planes, tanks and artillery, starts a war against the USSR, which also has this (Also, do not forget that Soviet industry was relocated beyond the Urals, which makes it impossible for the Luftwaffe to deal a crushing blow to factories. Consequently, the Soviets can also replenish their supplies). And it should not be ruled out that a hypothetical Soviet-German war could last for a decade, similar to the Second Sino-Japanese War, in which Japanese troops were also stuck in grueling battles.

Not only did they cause a constant disruption to that humongous supply line, they were always taking up popular feelings due to the heavy handed responses brought about by the Germans(not unlike what we are seeing with the Israeli fight against Hamas, at this moment). The Germans were at the very suburbs of Moscow and Stalin not only did not retreat he continued with the May 5 celebration as if German artillery was not landing 10 miles away! But, if Moscow fell, I do not see the soviet's ever regaining momentum yet it's very difficult to picture a German victory. Maybe if they recruited former soldiers, not politicos, of the Red Army as a puppet occupation force could the USSR have been defeated permanently. I just don't see a German victory as being possible in our reality, without strong support from Japan. Which did not come. Even with the mobility of the Soviet Industry, until the end of the war many of the T-34's and the Illyushons were being produced in America. This I only learned recently. I figured we helped them with material, but I've since learned we shipped assemble on arrival versions of the T-34 that were being made in USA and shipped thru to Archangel. It was a huge ammt of goods. No. I can't see a lasting German victory, but without the Luftwaffes losses over Britain, there wouldn't have been the level of lend-lease we sent that could have arrived. Germany was too advanced in their industrial capacity.

I assume the following: Roosevelts successor is considered incompetent. So the people wanted a new election. A new party comes to power: "America First Commitee". The new president is Charles Lindbergh. The AFC says America should stay out of other countries and focus on itself. So we have a similar development than in the video, but a little more realistic. Lindbergh was a pilot, so he also came from the military.

If France and especially Britain did not support Poland in this scenario, why did Poland still refuse the German negotiations about Danzig and the other big problems that lead to the German-Polish War? Couldn't Poland instead become a strong German ally in the war against the Soviets? 2. Are Russians, Slavs and other ethnicities treated well in the eastern countries under German supervision? I am looking forward to your answers :) And I just wanted to say I am happy that you incorporated into your scenario, that Germany did not declare war on the western European nations - but only after England and France declared war on Germany, in our timeline. Also Germany did not take territory from Yugoslavia, since they are axis-aligned in this world. The German leadership was perfectly fine with Germans living in other countries, as long as they were treated well. So I am very happy that you got the facts right - I did not expect anything else from you :)

I don't think the US would go along well with Rafael Franco, Terra, Vargas and the likes. While they were admirers of Mussolini, they were also economic nationalists whose policies often came into conflict with American companies' interests, much like Cardeno's. Maybe you could do a documentary on the famous architect, his successes, failures and struggles. You could make it super immersive, barely aknowledging any political/international changes unless it is directly relevant to him. It could end peacefully, or perhaps quite dramatically with him serving in the army once again before facing his doom. just some random ideas that popped in my head.

I have found if one reads the very writings from the people directly involved you get a Much different picture of history than if you listen to it from 3rd parties which can help sometimes start a journey of exploration but if not careful can quickly become a game of Telephone. For example with what really happened in WW2 and what happened with FDR. One place to start is his son Elliot Roosevelts writings. FDR brought him along to his meetings especially the ones with Churchill and Stalin. He made sure his son and Stalin were well acquainted. Both FDR and Stalin did not trust Churchill at all. FDR has said on multiple occasion that Churchill/Londons goal is to not just maintain the Empire but strengthen it. FDRs stated goal was to stop the Empires of Europe and make sure the colonies have their sovereignty. When FDR died Elliot Roosevelt met with Stalin and Stalin was quoted saying "it was Churchill and his gang who killed your father". Also we can all thank the City of London and the Bank of England for the rise of Germany during WW2 since they supported and funded them to annex Central Europe for the goal of becoming strong enough to have the Soviets and Germans kill each other off then come in after and gather up all the pieces but of course their Frankenstein monster went rogue and invaded France. Seeing that their creation might get to powerful they declared war on them and well you know the rest of the story.

If FDR wanted to end to the British, French, Dutch, etc empires it would be so that there would be no alliance of countries to engage in a trade war/sanctions against the USA. It was divide and conquer for the USA in terms of trade. As for Nazi Germany going "rogue" against France, they were at war with each other so Germany wanted to neutralise France before invading the USSR.

Me & My boyfriend watched this. Our main takeaways from this, or ciriticisms is, that religion wasn't used at all somehow to influence the American populum's actions. Where is Father Coughlin during all this? Does WMCA continue supporting his anti-semetic rants in 1938? Mosley would certainly be successful in this timeline if all of Europe and the USA was facist there’s no way his march would fail in this timeline. Mosleys and King Edwards Facist Britain would likely try to remain on favourable terms with USA and Germany and Italy even if there is tension between them they would want to return to splendid isolation and not want to get involved in all the needless conflicts it’s more likely to focus on consolidating its power over its colonies.

I love it, USA have a Italy-like status and rules under Fascist Rule of the USA, I don’t know what comes next but maybe Richard Nixon will be Second General Secretary of the Fascist America in May 1964 or maybe George H.W. Bush will win the 1980 Presidential Election or maybe a clash between USA and Japan in 1965 after a American Battleship just destroyed near Japanese Taiwan, maybe that will happen during the following decades, but it was a awesomely great video and I love it
