I love the smell of the body deadener on the side panels burning it reminds me of the Demolition Derby’s I would go to in the mid 60s with my dad . Most cars were late 40s to early 50s

What a perfect car for transforming into a sled. No matter how well restored a 4 door is, it will never get the attention of a coupe. I'm an old man and have worked on lots of cars in my life but I've never chopped one. Never had the courage to do so. I can see myself standing there with the torch or cutoff wheel in my hand and getting sick to my stomach and throwing up on the shop floor! I know you're going make this car look amazing. I needed to wrap my mind around what a Chopped Coupe could look like. My friend Google provided some images, some look like about 3.5” chop and a few that look like they rake the front windshield slopping backwards and Holy what a Sick Sick looking build. This is sooo cool Karl!! I was impressed to learn about heating the original screws and bolts before attempting to unscrew them 🤔 Years ago I chopped a ‘37 Dodge truck (and converted it to a crew cab, with four doors). The first cut was daunting, but exciting; it was so much fun…… Yes!! Sometimes a subtle chop is waaaay better than a savage one. It’s also really cool that Bad Chad is currently building a coupe from a 40 Ford sedan at the same time. Go the conversions!!!!

I just finished watching the videos of you body-dropping the Caddy and moved straight to this; hey look at that .. the grinder has sprouted a safety guard! I'm no longer mildly terrified the whole time you're using it ;) I got nervous every time I was cutting a hole in the body of the Cobra, and there I was following a 'guide' (I won't quite call it a manual!), so the thought of chopping the whole roof off of a car .. I am very, very impressed!

I'm 6 & 1/2 feet tall, so I never really got the whole idea of chopping or lowering a car, but 4 door to 2, means longer doors, and I can always get behind that!!! I can see the beauty of chopping this one, But I would never want it...
