I had the 41' 62-Series in Dark Green with a Tan Mohair interior for many years. When properly tuned, there is no vibration with the engine. The black vitreous coating on the exhaust manifold is missing on this example. The 41's had the thermostat controlled radiator vents rather than a conventional thermostat controlled coolant control. The hood is opened with the hood ornament. Sounds like there is a valve adjustment or lifter lubrication issue. Some drivetrain whine evident. I can attest that these are a genuine 100-MPH car. I used to win lunch time drag races to the hamburger stand against stock small block Chevies and Fords. Extremely reliable. This is a car that I would drive cross country without a concern. Of note. These very durable engines were used in pairs in WW11 American tanks. After the war and into the 60's one could buy these engines new surplus in crates.

Apparently the eggcrate grill was not used for the late 1930s til 1940 Cadillac. But it came back in 1941!
