What a great recipe Tessie period when I think about my relatives from way back then they would so their clothing they didn't buy everything from the store. Or they would take clothing and refurbish it into another outfit. That's what I did when my kids were young I sold most of their clothing and many times to clothing that was mine or their fathers and repurpose it into clothing for my children. I also was crocheting gifts and things that we needed but many times things that I sewed were gifts as well. I really didn't have any free time I was always taught you don't sit down with Idle Hands

Tessie, you're more than a KZbin filmmaker. You're a food historian! Combining the photos, the hand-written recipe, and then making the actual ketchup recipe is just perfect. The way you honor the generations that came before you -- from the marigold/lamb flower bed to the careful preservation of old pictures, journals and furniture -- is truly heart-warming. Your own kids are blessed to have someone who can connect them with their ancestors and with their own history. The values and ethics that these earlier generations cherished need to be kept alive and videos like this are a great way to do that. Thank you so much and have a blessed evening!

Cooking down tomatoes before using the Victorio saves so much time! I used my Victorio to juice wild grapes. Took me 40 minutes to get a half cup of juice. The tough skins on those grapes kept clogging it up. 😑 Might have to try cooking them down first. Always learning. Tfs! Blessings!
