Thanks for the video. The close-up shots are especially useful.

I enjoy watching your videos. My only problem is I wish you would take more closeups of each step you do. It is difficult sometimes to fully understand what you are doing without seeing the part up close.

Great video. Sadly, I found that the hinges of my 47 GMC are slightly different. On the 47, there is only a single spring with 2 loops as opposed to the single loop "ram's horns" which seems to be the norm shown in your video. Any idea where I can source the double loop spring?

I appreciate your videos. But you know most of us know the process of removing the door and hinges, but most have trouble with the mechanical process of removing those 50-80 year old bolts and screws. I'd like to see more of your "struggles" with stuff that is seized and difficult. I'm sure you regularly run across a repair like that.

Why no bushings. Didn’t new bushings come with the pins?

thanks for the detail, it saved my hinges! Btw, what are the wheels on your truck? I would love to find some for my 49 3100 AD.

Great video. I can not get any of the old pins out. Is there a secret? Heating did not help.

do you have a part number for the pins or are they a common part you can get at parts stores?
