I worked with a pre-war Buick restorer and came to love the cars as they were originally engineered, but I can very well see why this genre of car builds came about. You are merging the state of the art of both eras with genuine grace. I'm also hoping that old frame, engine and power train found a good home in some fine restoration.

Can't believe the negative comments.....still looks original and unspoilt, but with modern all round performance and handling etc. Plenty of over polished and chromed ones out there, for the purists. Hats off to these guys for some top quality work. Beautiful and VERY usable car.

This gives me goosebumps seeing how amazingly cool this is. I have a strong disdain for hot rods and modified classics, not because of the performance gains, but because of the loss of originality. Cars from this era are so beautiful, and I have always felt that hot rodding, with a few exceptions, ruins once great cars. This on the other hand... This keeps intact what I think makes these old cars so wonderful, and that's their character. This is exactly what a hot rod should be, nothing else. Well done!!!!!!!

You guys have got to do an LS Saab or Volvo or Nash Metropolitan with 10.5" - 12" wheels tucked under the back, in your style of course. Or a Coyote. Sadly, I do not have the funds to commission a project like this. Not into conventional Hot rods like Logan either.

I know it's years since the post, but I get the sentiment too - if designers from back in the day saw a low rider, they'd be thinking 'what have you done? It scrapes on the floor, ffs!' But if they saw this, it'd blow them away, with what's possible now, but still recognisable and relevant to what they must have been thinking about when they designed it in the first place.
