Beautiful condition - my parents' first car was a 47 Ford coupe - pretty much the same as this. One suggestion: please invest in some kind of tripod or other device to hold and steady the camera during test drives so the video is stable and you can use both hands to drive.

1948 . . .A transition year design-wise. What does that mean?

the new 1949 ford was introduced in june 1948. completely different car design and some mechanical changes for 1949. i guess the 1948 fords got laid in the background quick. so hence the transition design-wise.
