I bought a 1/2 A lot at the Toledo Expo 2024 of over 100 engines. This was somewhere in the mix of it. I had other parted engines in which I removed aftermarket needle valve assemblies. I used one of those needle valve assemblies on this engine, which was missing one. The engine barely breaks into a two cycle but runs amazingly well. I believe the low and slow nature was perfect for its intended use at the time, which was likely free flight.
Aftermarket two jet carburetor needle valve is set 1&1/4 turns out open from the closed position.
Champion V3G glow plug.
Top Flite 9x4 nylon prop.
Glow fuel mix:
60% Menthanol.
15% Nitro methane.
25% Benol castor oil.
