Old version was definitely better, but I can see why they made the changes they did. PIU is a family-friendly game, and as a result put in the areas of arcades where kids are usually permitted with their parents. There's certain regions of the world where PIU operates where Satanic imagery is either straight-up banned, or restricted to adult-oriented content. It seems unreasonable, but when you're dealing with an international scale, there's concessions you have to make. We still get to see the original on the Internet, pretty much the only context where this actually affects us is watching gameplay post-redo or playing the game itself. Which for the majority of us isn't too often. (And in those scenarios, you're definitely more focused on the chart anyways!!) And honestly, the changes are so mild that when I first saw the censored BGA, I didn't even notice. It's still a super cool BGA.

I think old BGA is too satanic for arcade. Satanic deity like bapomhet was removed and replaced with skull which is slighter for Heavy Metal Theme, and all "DEATH" things were removed too.

I think for a better censored version, better remove skulls too. But good for Andamiro, Satan is not good to be displayed. In China, all people hates everything that is revelant with "Death". It is prohibited to bring a sharp things while attending some events because it can kill other people. Some event prohibit a usage of Black and White clothes because the wearer will be looked like someone who is working for cemetery. I don't know a lot of them, just a little bit. But the number 4 and 9 in China means "Death" and "Loss" because if you read them in Chinese (example : 4 = Sì, 9 = Jìú), there are similarity of.... i don't know what is it. In Christian Religion, 2 of the first from 10 commandments of God said : 1. No other God before Me ("Me" refers to God") 2. Do not make a statue that is looked like anything and then worship them (No problem to make statue in purpose of anything but to be worshipped) Satan is also refer to the another God which should not be worshipped. Not just that. Satan is also a monster that come for stealing, killing, and perish all of us. In Islamic Country, none of them celebrate Halloween because : 1. It's not their culture 2. They also said Satanism is bad 3. The Moslem's life is depending to God (Allah SWT) Their God says that if they worship another God (Especially Satan), then they will be called as infidels and they will be punished. So, if we worship Satan, making a song in Pump It Up with it's BGA and the BGA in that song has an image of Satan, it is absolutely wrong. Because Satan is always working for destroying all of us.
