4 years after the fact but...Your window felts, or "belt lines" as you call them at 45:10, all the clips seemed to line up correctly with the holes! The ones I got from Brothers do not. Other vids say to cut them off and glue them. (after you check them before you start) But I only had the one closest to the outside of the door that needs to be cut off. I am going you sell these separately and they are not $100! Also it's much easier to deal with the windows without the door latch lever in the way. It's only about five screws to remove it And I used short pop rivets in the wing window and there were no issues at all. Great video. These fricken windows are like a Rubics cube!. I agree - the pop rivet ends in the window channel will be a issue. The OEM rivets do not protrude into the channel area. I was looking for the correct rivets to. A buck; compression style rivet. I liked the Video and take it easy on the music.

Liked the video - had some helpful hints on it !! Found out we were missing the washers with rect. cuts - vent window was flopping !! Only question was the rivets - I used the OEM style rivets and found the heads were thick - in the window channel. How did you deal with this?? Looks like the "balled up " end of the pop rivets would end up in the channel. Thanks - Bob from NH.

The rivet we used didn't ball up that much and so when the felt tape is applied in the channel it didn't affect the door glass from rolling up or down.

Hi great video. Is there a particular reason for not painting the inside of the window channel before gluing the felt on it?

This was not our truck so we couldn't do anything else but install the weatherstrip.

Isn't there an adhesive required between the side glass channel and the door frame? I didn't see one used on the video

pa2000xxxx There's no need for glue with this part. You can see from the video just how difficult it was to remove the old ones. They will stay in place when install.

The person that installed the door seal installed them on the wrong doors. The lip should not be flush with door.

+James Berry You are correct. Our guys had not replaced this seal when doing the vent window rebuild. This is the door seal video that we produced that shows the correct orientation (2:00 min mark) of the seal. kzbin.info/www/bejne/ppLPY32khNicjJo
