Spent a frustrating few hours with a friend trying to get gasket on-I confess, we assumed the larger lip side went on the outside! Would be helpful for Precision to include a few 'pointers' on an info sheet inside the packaging of the windshield. Glad to watch video-will be better prepared to install.

The glass shop quoted me $300 for windshield and small rear window installation so I bought couple of tools for $23 and installed it in about an hour with my wife, thank you for your videos!!!

Very helpful. Would love to see a video with a windshield showing installation of stainless reveal moulding- that has been vexing me on a 67 Ford F 100 windshield installation-almost want to delete it! Real trucky to get to stay in place.

How can I tell which weather stripping I have a? My truck came with weatherstripping but I don't know if it's standard or Deluxe

Just put my new window in on my 59. Video helped a ton but I have two spots on the upper seal that will not lay flat. I tried using the hook tool on the inner seal like you did in the video and pullin hard while someone had pressure from the outside but doesn’t seem to wanna lay flat there. Any tips? Maybe a little heat? Thanks!

you guys make it look easy but im trying exactly what you did but when trying to position the windshield bottom first it sets too high. I can set it straight in but the bottom is too far from the lip that the gasket needs to seal. Any ideas what I may be doing wrong?

+S Patton Are you pulling that second lip over the pinchweld as shown at 9:25. This step is very important for getting the glass and gasket seated correctly.

Im probably looking at a 1/4-3/8 gap between pinch weld and gasket at bottom once the top of the windshield sets in. In other words, we cant get the gasket to rest against the pinch weld to even pull it over. Either the top is too far off if the bottom is against the pinch weld or vise versa.

Junk seal. Can't even get the dang thing to stay on the windshield. It's not form fitted so it just wants to come right back off. Only option is to glue the hell out of it to the glass but this is a no no. Poor quality seal.
