I have been doing body/paint/fabrication work for over 45 years now. Learned the trade at junior college when I was 18 years old. Thought I knew it all back then and I had to learn a lot thru trial and error...emphasis on ERROR! Young man you are one of the great rising stars in custom/fabrication work. Your videos are some of the best, I learn sumthin new each time I watch you work. Fantastic work, keep the torch burning, you have a lifetime of greatness ahead of you.

There are so many of these 4-door to 2-door conversion videos on KZbin. And most of them are hacks at best. Karl, you turned this transformation into art. Both the work on the car, and the work on the video, are stellar.

Pure artistry in metal! Fantastic video! I particularly liked that you didn't buy a conversion kit, instead fabricating as required and refitting the original pillars. Using the OEM spot weld points is excellent. Seeing how good that side looked, even just tacked up was really quite remarkable!

Hey Karl; Love the work you're doing... You got me inspired... I'm currently working on a restoration, of a '72 Nova, that I got in Surrey (I'm in Kelowna). However, your Kustom work, got me thinking about my next project. When I was a Kid (50 yrs ago) My Dad had a customized '64 C10 Longbox, that was customized into an extended cab shortbox. I grew up driving it on our farm... The truck is long gone, and my Dad passed away 10 yrs ago. I started thinking about building a Tribute Truck. I've been looking for a '64, without much success. So I'm putting out feelers, to folks around the industry... If you were to come across one, I'd sure appreciate a heads up... In the meantime, Keep up the Awesome Work... I Love the Work You Do... Thanks Again; Allan Lundquist
