These Villiers engines were undestructible, my memory went back many decades ago when I heard the sound of the engine.

When it started up it the sound of it reminded me of my Puch 175 that I owned over fifty years ago. It was a twin cylinder with one plug in a valley between the cylinders. I am sure it smells the same, thank you for the memories.

First bike I had, the magneto was stripped and the cover would fall off and the wheel would disappear down the road in front of me with the biked coming to a halt. the neighbours hated the racket the two stroke engine made. It also caused my one and only appearance in court where I was fined 30 bob for no front break and no horn. Happy days.

Isn't that funny, the moment it started I could smell the exhaust; oil and an over-rich mixture! I had a Fanny Barnet with the same Villiers motor as a track bike in the '60's and spent hours and hours riding around a field and falling off. Love the video.

The first bike I ever rode, my best mate at school had one to make a mess of his back garden. Later I discovered my father in law had one when he was a butchers apprentice in the late 50's.

I wouldn’t mind a wager that the ‘road’ in question has not been adopted by the Council and thus is private property 😢. I wonder how many occupiers use the ‘road for access, best organise a collection😮. Or, what with Andy’s world wide customer base, Crowd Funding might prove popular. I’m sure we all yearn to witness some proper, pothole free, straight line speeds attained during these excellent demonstrations, complete with hairy braking at the top turn 😊.
