My mistake it was a 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan .You Drive” (1964, episode 134) Cars do come alive in The Twilight Zone - when they have something to prove. Ollie Pope learns a lesson about concealing his crimes after he accidentally hits a paperboy with his 1956 Ford Fairlane Club Sedan and hurries away without reporting it. Pope’s car starts acting on its own to get him to admit his guilt, becoming increasingly insistent that Pope shouldn’t hide the truth.

the 57s looked really nice but they came out with the FE block in 1958, 352, 360, 390, 410, 427, 428. I have a 1964 high nickel FE block in my 73 Ford short 4X. My Dad bought a new 58 Fairlane first year 352. He took the hubcaps off and took it to the drag strip, lol. I was 4. He later picked up a 56 T Bird, a 66 Shelby GT 350 and a 72 Pantera (351 Cleveland mid engine). We like Fords. I remember the 69 LTD with the 429 would spin when it hit second gear in drive.
