What a terrific hood ornament the Pterodactyl would make.

Man, busy week! 8razar8 stole my thunder… great vid, and I didn’t spot the rat either! It’s enjoyable watching you do the work you’re doing and explaining as you go. I think I’m gonna get my welding tools out this week and get after some work I’ve been neglecting/hesitating. Welding has never been my thing, but I do it when I have to. You make it look like it’s second nature, but I realize it takes practice! Thanks! ‘Looking forward to the next.

I was working on an old mail jeep. I had the body going like I wanted. Rebuilt the engine and transmission. It was really going good. I put two hundred miles on it. Then I had a spinal stroke. I'm paraplegic now. Not living at my house now. It's been five years since I've seen my jeep. Probably locked up engine now. Hasn't been fired up since 2020. But now I'm working with wood. Something I can do while in a wheelchair. Lol

@RottenBuick it is aggravating. I'm staying with my brother in law. My little house is a 1920s pier and beam. Nice place but needs a remodel inside to accommodate a my needs. I've managed to recover enough that I should be able to get back to my house. Lots of nephews around to do the remodel for me. Life is good! And staying busy. Love to watch you work on your car!

@@stewartburks868 Man that’s rotten luck. But you really have a great attitude. I’m not comparing but just sharing, I developed very aggressive arthritis in my back in a very short period of time. Had to make some huge changes after being very active and physical my whole life. I’m getting around and doing stuff while I still can and addressing changes as they come. Mail Jeeps are pretty cool. A buddy of mine used to have one that we would tool around in and it never got old! God bless you brother with excellent days ahead!

Hey at least you're replacing the metal with metal and not chicken wire and bondo like a bunch of people who claim to be professionals out there the only ones that will cringe are the Perfectionists that would take 10 years to make that patch then another 4 to actually weld it in that's why many of them die before their projects get done then they sit on the other side when someone like us gets the project and just get it done.
@JimboJangle11 сағат бұрын
Exactly right.Well said.👍

Some people can definitely do better or worse. But we’re getting it done. And I can always attempt another quarter panel in the future.

Almost wondering if someone wasn't planning on blue dots for the tail lights, given how perfectly round that hole is. There isn't a matching one on the other lens, perchance?

Color, at this point, doesn't matter. Call it 'Preview Primer' and that will make the sections all the more obvious as you dial in repairs/modifications and the overall color(s) become more uniform.

Yeah I definitely see some areas of the panel that need addressing

Maybe instead of using resin to fix the back lights, why not try using coloured plexiglass/plastic. Just a thought.
