I am so glad to see a video today, because it's been a rough week. I went in on Monday to get a knee replacement, because i had a previous ACL reconstruction surgery back in 09 from a work injury that broke my fibula, and tore some ligaments in my ankle, only took them 9 month's to finally do tests to figure it out, sli had to have my leg rebroke and plated because it healed together in a cross pattern, and the whole thing left me with permanent damage. I had an MRI back in 2018 that showed a cyst in my tibia, and a ganglion cyst behind my knee, which i told the Dr. about, and that it had gotten pretty painful. The guy tells me it's a baker's cyst, totally not the same, takes a regular x ray, does blood work, and that's it. In the OR, he says it takes 45 minutes or less, and i ask again about the ganglion cyst, he says we'll pop it. I didn't have any family there, my sister dropped me off, and picked me up the next morning, but they were supposed to call her at work, but nobody called, so she texted asking if i was okay. The surgery took over 3 hour's, the Dr. quickly tells me he had to grind down the bone spurs that he had seen on the X-Ray. I asked about the cyst, he stopped looking me in the eye, says he popped and drained it, then leaves saying nothing else. I felt really sick, and noticed i looked really white in the mirror. They gave me I.V. antibiotics, nobody told me why, because most people go home the same day on pills, and a nerve block pump. I have progressive MS with muscle wasting on my entire left side, so they wanted to make sure i was steady. Next morning they came to take my blood, no reason why. The Dr., and his PA, who was helping do knees that day came in, and she started talking about it, and the doc cuts her off, and says it was a mess in there, and then he says i can go home. I got home, still sick, no answer for 45 minutes turning into over 3 hour's, sk i went to their my chart to look at the blood results. Everything was bad, my hemoglobin dropped 5 point's, rbc way below normal along with everything else, and my white blood cell count was high, but normal before the surgery. I lost a lot of blood, and a high wbc means there's an infection, the reason i was given antibiotics and a script. The other thing that tripped me out, was the incision was supposed to be 3 inches long, under an ace wrap, it's about 12 inches long, from a few inches above to a few inches below my knee cap. I tried calling the Dr. who did the surgery, out til Monday, and can't get anyone to tell me what the hell went on in that O R room. Anybody wake up like this from surgery?? My reason for telling this, always have family or an advocate with you, because i know 4 other people who had similar experiences, and one almost died. I know everything ewe buy is cheap junk, but damn, nobody should have people mess with their life, and try to hide not listening to the patient, who knows their body, and when something isn't right, people aren't all dumb. Anyway, just needed tl vent, don't know what to do about the situation, and just hope everything's all right. I needed the Dalton humor for sure, so thanks Dalton and crew. You always put out some of the best content on hoh tube. G-d bless.
@RustyZipper3 сағат бұрын
Hang in there 💪 I tell people all of the time that if you think any Doctor gives a darn about you then you’ll soon realize that you’re merely an interruption to them flirting with 20 year old nurses, scrolling through Tic Tok or Tinder and delaying their next Tee time. They’ll prescribe medication just so they get a kick back from the Pfizer rep.

The stance and look of that car turned out awesome! Also honestly, I get where you're coming from by not getting parts for free/discounted for sponsors, and all us watching respect it, but I think likewise that we really wouldn't have anything against it, assuming you were gonna buy the parts anyways, and always called out the parts that were crap. It'll still be relatable, and you'd save money that you could instead put to rescuing other cars. :) Regards from Sweden!
