The riffs on Mortske are all in jest. Long story short, he bought a LS swapped square body from CoPart in Oklahoma that was a theft recovery. He was driving it home & got pulled over for no tag. Even though he had a bill of sell from CoPart, they had not had made sure it was removed from system, so it was still showing up as a stolen vehicle when the officer ran the VIN. He was arrested as a formality & spent about 6 hours behind bars. The issue has mostly been resolved I think, as he did get the truck back after getting released. There is a whole video on it at More Mortske Repair.

The stance and look of that car turned out awesome! Also honestly, I get where you're coming from by not getting parts for free/discounted for sponsors, and all us watching respect it, but I think likewise that we really wouldn't have anything against it, assuming you were gonna buy the parts anyways, and always called out the parts that were crap. It'll still be relatable, and you'd save money that you could instead put to rescuing other cars. :) Regards from Sweden!

I took my driver's test on a 63' Biscayne. A 3 -on-the-tree shifter. I'm from Canada. And it was all rusted out back in 1977. This one has great bones and it would look great to overhaul it into a classic driver. Although the 2-door is preferable for that, which is what our car was. Hard to believe I've been driving for 46 years, over 2 million miles of collision-free mileage. Fun fact, the night I got my driver's license my buddy rolled his car on the side where I was sitting. Since I was wearing my seat belt that instilled a mindest for life of being safe in a vehicle.
