1960's Schwinn Corvette wheel restoration.

In this video I clean and polish a Schwinn Corvette wheel. I have to take the wheel apart to clean the rust then put it all back together.

I remember growing up in the 60s we had leather straps that you could snap on the hubs that polished them as you rode the bike.

I have some rusty white s7’s and just left them like that. I would like them trued tho but nobody around me wants to touch them

You need to soak the spoke and nipple with Triflow or PB blaster. I can understand why some places don't want to touch them but they could try. Goodluck.👍
