1963-1967 Corvette Rear Bumper Installation and License Plate Bezel Installation

Hey guys and gals, welcome to my KZbin channel. This episode I picked up my bumpers from the chrome shop and installed them. Paul's Chrome Plating in Evans City restored them to better than new condition. They are straight as an arrow and they look like mirrors. They have a lifetime guarantee on them. Great folks to do business with! But enough talk. It's time to put them on! I will put the front bumpers on eventually. I want to make at least 1 video where the car is driving without front bumpers.

The Vette's coming along great Mitch, will you be taking it to Bloomington in June? It would be great to see it there...I'd love to bring my coupe but will be flying there unfortunately..

Excellent video for what we are trying to do. My son and I are trying to install missing bolts in each corner of the rear bumper but are finding it extremely difficult getting the driver side nut on. The rest of the bolts (correct head marking) are in place. My question is how did you manage to do this, you mentioned it being very difficult with valence on (10:57 of video)

Hi Rob thanks for watching. I really don’t have any special tip to get to that nut. I lost some skin on my hand to get back there. I’m there wasn’t any room to get access. I had to wedge my hand back there. It just took a lot of trial and error to get it done. Good luck with yours haha.

Lance Vette it definitely won’t be daily driven but I do want to put some miles on it. I think I’m going to get the car NCRS judged first before I drive it too much.
