Thanks for watching! I learned a lot to film this video haha. Now I feel like a core support expert 😂

Hey there Mitch, Good info. I never thought that they'd have so many versions. I bet it complicates tracking down the right one. Take care, Dan

Thanks for the information Mitch , I'm sure it will help all the builders out there.

Good info, I saw the oval hole in the core support and immediately thought that could work for a LS air intake not even thinking that was a fuelie thing.

Great explanaination on these differences. One thing to note is that on the 66/67 since they kick the bottom further forward than the earlier models is that the rods that bolt beetween the lower part of the support and the headlight bucket mounts are shorter - so for anyone that needs all parts, 66-67 cores will need to use shorter rods. And the L shaped brackets that bolt the support to the lower valence panel are different for the same reason .

That’s a good point. You have to get all the hardware to work with the core support you picked.

Hey mitch, you looking for a white c5 Corvette for a resto mod for one of your projects?

Thanks for showing that to us. Do you find many of those rusted? I'd like to see a video on how to fight back at rear bumpers that don't want to fit. Thanks again Mitch.
@MidYearMitchАй бұрын
Hey Jim thanks for tuning in. Yes I have a rusty one that I didn’t show in the video. I was considering using it and fixing it in another video. Oh no that sounds like you are struggling with that now! Best of luck with that. That’s a hard area to film and I don’t have any bumpers at the moment. If I do come up with any I can try to put a video together! Thanks for watching and good luck

So my 65 #4880 has the F.I. opening , could it have been a fulie car ? Or, does it have the opening for all small blocks ? I wonder what VIN # did they start making all with the fuel inj. hole ?
