I somebody who just downloaded the game about three weeks ago, it does have a pretty steep learning curve. I've never been a huge flight sim guy, mostly play space sims like X-Wing, but it's been three weeks and I'm still working on making reliable landings in the starter plane (Su-25T). I am getting better, but it's one of those things that will honestly take dozens of hours of practice before I could hope to learn all the weapons systems on top of just navigating and takeoff/landing.

You know there's a problem when you have more take-offs then you do landings in your logbook, HOWEVER just remember a landing is nothing more then I controlled crash. At lest that's what one of my flight instructors (CFI) used to say.

@@grimreapers cap on another note, I've recently subscribed to your podcast and utterly love it, especially the book reading episode on "The U boat peril", going to order it too as also love naval ships. If you're after a technical but readable book on avionics, may I suggest "Military Avionics systems" by moir and seabridge. Its a expensive book but explains everything from databuses, radar, to EW.
