What a great story .Sounds like writer loves steam engines . I can imagine you writing stories about many engines being rescued and running on island railways..There could be a couple of islands west of Sodor that were bigger and dedicated to steam engines. Refusing to use diesels because they aren’t human like steam engines.. What happened when steam engines died young was sad . I want to imagine that the young steam engines had a place to go where they were wanted.. THANK YOU FOR THIS STORY! SO FULL OF EMPATHY
